Compensation
80ąper
mile - ALL dispatched miles.
Contractor
receives 100%.
Contractor
receives 67% of what Johnsrud collects.
Contractor
receives 67% of freight revenue instead of mileage pay.
Johnsrud
pays the first $75.00 of internal trailer washes. Johnsrud also
pays half of the wash cost over $150.00. There is NO COST TO WASH
AT DES MOINES & LINCOLN TERMINALS. A weekly budget plan is also
available.
Contractor
receives 100% when in effect.
Contractor
may use our fuel card system (EFS). Contractor pays transaction
fee.
Your
settlement can be loaded onto a Comdata card where it can be direct
deposited to your bank account or left on your card for you to
use.
Expenses
* $25.00 per week for license and permits.
* Contractor pays all state mileage taxes which
are deducted quarterly.
* Contractor responsible for their own Federal Highway
Use Tax.
* Contractor responsible for the cost of tractor
washes.
* Contractor pays all heel charges. This is not
included in the $75.00 from above.
* Contractor responsible for all tolls, scale charges,
uniforms & all tractor expenses.
Tractor Requirements
* Tandem axle with sleeper.
* Meet DOT requirements and pass Johnsrud Transport
shop inspection.
* Must be in good mechanical condition and present
a professional image.
* Tractor must weigh 17,500 lbs. or less with fuel
and unloading equipment. The unloading equipment weighs approximately
250 lbs. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO LEGALLY SCALE 49,000 LBS OF PRODUCT.
* No condo's.
* The top of your 5th wheel must be no LESS than 46
inches from the ground.
